I bought (by financing) a new car on Saturday, and the dealership collected my insurance information - we also spoke with my insurance company that day.Since Im financing, does this mean the dealership sent proof of insurance to my bank? Or is this something the buyer (i.e. me) usually does independently?.--Answer1:I recommend you do it in person or yourself. If it doesnt show up, it could cause all sorts of issues and it is better to be safe than sorry..--Answer2:yes but ask your agent about gap insurance as well just in case.--Answer3:refinance with state farm insurance we have AWESOME POLICIES.--Answer4:Your Car insurance company will provide that information to the lender. You dont need to do anything but make sure that your Insurance provider has the correct lender information..--Answer5:If you financed a new car from a dealer, they will not let you drive off with out having insurance. So they have sent the information over to the bank..--Answer6:You need to arrange it directly with your insurer and provide evidence of coverage to the lender. Dont rely on the dealership.
